Overview

SOS Silent Help respects your privacy. This version of the App is device-only. We do not operate a backend and we do not collect, store, or share your personal data on our servers.

Information Processed on Your Device

Location (approximate or precise, foreground only) is used to include a map link in SOS / “I’m Safe” messages. Location data never leaves your device except in the messages you send.
Contacts are entered by you and stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded or shared with us.
Messaging is handed off to WhatsApp, Telegram, Viber, or your SMS carrier. Message delivery is subject to those providers’ systems.

Data Collection and Sharing

We do not collect, share, or sell personal data. No analytics are implemented in this release.

Permissions

Location (Approx/Precise, Foreground) — to include your location in messages you choose to send.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly address the matter.

Legal Basis & International Use

The App complies with applicable privacy frameworks including GDPR (EU), CCPA (California, USA), and the Australian Privacy Act. As we do not operate servers or collect data, cross-border data transfer provisions are not applicable.
